Hi, David. Welcome back!


The only thing on your list that jumped out at me
was the HDD. I'd go with 10K drives, even if you
have to give up a bit of capacity to stay under
budget. Now that 15K drives are out, you're no
longer paying as big a premium for 10Ks, and I've
found the difference between 10Ks and 7200s to be
noticeable.
