[Techtalk] Bind 9 and secondary dns server

Hi All,

I'm new here and I kinda need help ...

I'm setting up a rh 7.3 secondary dns server for a
website that runs the primary server using windows 2K
server in another location.

Most of the references that I read had setups for the
primary server...hopefully someone in the list can
give me some tips on:

1. What files config files I need sitting on the
secondary server?
I have already configured the ff config files:

-named.ca (root dns) 
-named.conf - I am not so sure about my settings since
I was basing it on a primary named.conf file from an
older bind version. Does anyone have any resources
that I could go to for this?


2. what files or settings do I need from the master
server ?
I got the master's IP address using dig command
Should I ask for an equiv of his localhost.db zone
file?  or is it possible to create my own based on the
master's settings?
