You probably just missed reading it.

From the man page-

       Here are the legal user options:

       Keyword            Opt   Function
       ------------------------------------------------------------
...
       limit              -l    Set message size limit

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the unit is, but I'm guessing KB.
