Hi, I want to mount a samba share as a normal user,
I added the following to /etc/fstab
//sambaserver/homedir /mnt/sambaserver smbfs
noauto,rw,user,username=bla,password=bla,uid=500,gid=500,umask=775 0
0
when I want to mount as a normal user I get:
smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts (500,500)
smbmnt failed: 1
I thougth adding the word user in the /etc/fstab options would be
enough?
Does anyone know what I forgot?
