[Techtalk] Can't ping DNS

Can you ping your gateway? (By IP 207.189.172.98 according to your files, so
I hope that's the right address. :) )

I'm guessing this is a no since you couldn't ping anything other than
yourself, but it's a handy thing to know explicitly.

The only thing that jumps out at me from your files is the routing table:

I labelled the lines to make this easer to say...

[1] and [5] are the ones you need for routing through your modem, while [2]
and [3] shouldn't make any difference.  I don't know what line [4] is up to,
but I suspect it's no good, since it's unecessary for modem routing.  Can
you get rid of this line and try again?
