I was thinking sort of along the same lines, although more a new 
spin-off list, kinda a mini perlmonks by email. We can call it 
perlnuns? (Just kidding.)

I'm a long time perl hacker, but feel like a beginner all the time. 
I'd love to have other chix in any states of knowledge on perl 
kicking it around.

But, if a course is the way we go, I'm more than happy to contribute 
what I can - or we can just use the courses list.
