[Techtalk] compiling errors

Hi techtalkers,
I'm posting this for a friend. I'm not much of a 'make' guru, anyone have any
ideas how to fix this, or where to look for answers? Are there missing
libraries? I'm looking at various docs, so far it's a deep dark mystery. Is
this person trying to create an RPM? There are only two FreeSWAN modules
available, one contains the base installation, the other is utilities.
Thanks!
Carla

Unfortunately, I'm not too sharp at using make. It seems a simple fix,
but I'm not sure why
/usr//src/freeswan-1.97/tmp.rpmbuild/lib/modules/ipsec doesn't get
created in the first place. I have tried this on clean installs of Redhat
7.2 and 7.3 with updates using both 1.96 and 1.97.
Hopefully somebody will have an idea on how to resolve this. Thanks"
