A lot of other people sent answers that might have helped you already. 
If they haven't helped you yet, could you do an ls and paste exactly
what it is that is sitting in your home directory occupying space?

If it is the original rpm you downloaded, you can just throw that out. 
Once the rpm is installed, it puts the actual stuff it needs into a
different directory.  You only need to keep that .rpm file if you want
it to install it again or to install on a different computer in a
network.
