[Techtalk] cgi forms not delivered.

For several years we have used a generic program at our ISP
cgiemail to return forms to us from people asking for more
information. Apparently the program had a security problem
and without announcing what they were doing, the ISP made the
program unavailable -- fortunately the hot leads then used
the telephone to find out why we had not replied because the
form still appeared to work and announced proudly that it was
being delivered.

That's the background -- ISP is NOT helpful beyond suggesting
that I use a copy of FormMail.pl which they had available or
get a copy over the web. It took much of the weekend to get
things working because, of course, sendmail and perl were not
in standard locations. Now I have everything on my web site
and again it appears to work -- the form gets filled out and
submitted and announces its success but no mail arrives at our
site. I have found the location of the apache logs and for
each of my attempts there is a GET and a POST .

Are there other places I can look at to try and find out what
is going on?

Thanks for any suggestions you may have,
