[Techtalk] KDE3 startup wizard wont stop....

thanks,
although the main thing is i didnt want to lose all my mail, desktop settings 
etc. 
i've discovered the problem now- i installed kde3 as an upgrade,and it 
overwrites 2 but also puts another reference into the startup menu (im using 
runlevel 5 at the moment) - so there are two, KDE and KDE3. i've discovered 
that the KDE3 entry is highly unstable, almost like being a different user, 
it had different settings for my desktop and KMail!!!! weird. so i am 
thinking to remove that from the list of desktops, it is the only one with a 
startup wizard, when i start the entry labelled KDE then i get KDE3 with no 
startup wizard.
