I think the "software solution" is still an emulator.

I was *thrilled* to see it supported Lotus Notes. I was amused to note
CrossOver gives Lotus Notes a "silver" rating, stating that there are
"significant bugs that prevent [Lotus Notes] from running flawlessly."
In my year's worth of experience, Lotus Notes ranks silver when
running on WinME or Win2000.
