[Techtalk] Sound on RH7.2

I've noticed that with RH7.2  I found I had to do something like the
following...

as root do

aumix -f /etc/.aumixrc

 in aumix, set the desired volume levels
 then use 's' to save them
 then add the following to /etc/rc.d/rc.local

/usr/bin/aumix -f /etc/.aumixrc -L

this will load the systemwide volume levels at boot time...
