[Techtalk] CPU benchmark database?

Hello,

This isn't quite on-topic, but I suspect that people here may be
interested in my question: is there an online repository of CPU benchmarks
that has data from the last few years' of CPUs? I'd like to be able to
compare my Celeron-566 with the newer Intel/AMD chips, to see just how
much of a difference an upgrade would make.

I realise that CPUs are only part of the story - motherboard cache,
memory, and other things all contribute. However, a rough comparison would
be useful.

I've tried Googling and talking on IRC but to no avail. Websites like
intel.com allegedly have performance comparisons, but they tend to be
advertising graphs (i.e. useless).
