Thanks for all your help!  I got it working with cups and gimp-print.
Looks really nice, too!

Only one issue, though: it only appears to support color printers.  My
BJ200ex isn't on the list at all, so I went with the roughly-contemporary
BJC30.  It works, though the printing is a little bit light.  Any helpful
hints?
