About ten (or more) years ago, when cable was not widespread in
Britain, I used to be vastly amused by tales of "Guru Meditation
error"s showing up on US cable channels. This was the "I crashed:
here's the debugging info" error from the Amiga, a computer which
was very popular in Britain (and Australia?) but apparently less
well-known in homes in the US.

Somewhere on the web is a site devoted to Windows BSODs (BSsOD?)
spotted in unusual situations, from that classic giant screen on
one side of a building to innumerable airport information screens.
