Here are the Received-lines from your first mail in this thread:
Received: (qmail 71587 invoked from network); 11 Oct 2001 00:10:27 -0000
Received: from gw-dsl.simegen.com (HELO keon.simegen.com) (220.127.116.11)
by proto.pvv.ntnu.no with SMTP; 11 Oct 2001 00:10:27 -0000
Received: from localhost (keon.simegen.com) [127.0.0.1]
by keon.simegen.com with esmtp (Exim 3.32 #1 (Debian))

Received: from nowhere.com (s3.quintessential.com) [18.104.22.168]
by keon.simegen.com with smtp (Exim 3.32 #1 (Debian))

Received: (qmail 98321 invoked from network); 4 Oct 2001 14:24:03 -0000
Received: from unknown (HELO slava.net) (22.214.171.124)
by s3.quintessential.com with SMTP; 4 Oct 2001 14:24:03 -0000
Read from the bottom they say:
* 126.96.36.199 (slava.net) sent the mail to s3.quintessential.com at 4
Oct 2001 14:24:03 -0000
* s3.quintessential.com (188.8.131.52) sent it to keon.simegen.com at
Thu, 11 Oct 2001 00:24:27 +1000 (Wed 10 Oct 2001 14:24:27 -0000)
* keon.simegen.com sent it to itself at Thu, 11 Oct 2001 00:25:47 +1000
(Wed 10 Oct 2001 14:25:47 -0000), probably to mailman.
* gw-dsl.simegen.com/keon.simegen.com sent it to me at proto.pvv.ntnu.no
at 11 Oct 2001 00:10:27 -0000
It here looks like there are two delays: first one between
s3.quintessential.com and keon.simegen.com, i.e. 6 days, then a second
smaller one between gw-dsl.simegen.com/keon.simegen.com and
proto.pvv.ntnu.no of 10 hours or so.
I don't know where the problem is, it might be keon.simegen.com that
didn't want to receive the mail (the postmaster there should be able to
check their logs for connections from s3.quintessential.com) or it may
be s3.quintessential.com that delayed it for some reason (the postmaster
there can also look in their logs).
(The delay between gw-dsl.simegen.com/keon.simegen.com and
proto.pvv.ntnu.no are probably due to mailadm chewing or because the
mail had to be approved before it could leave mailman.)

As someone said: make sure you are subscribed to the list with the
address you post to it with. Then your mail will go straight through,
not having to wait for approval.
sash is very good for you.
