Just type 

linux x86serialnr=1 

at the LILO: prompt. 

To make this change permanent you can edit your /etc/lilo.conf 
and add an 

append="x86serialnr=1"

to your linux section. Don't forget to run lilo after that to write the 
changes to disk.
