[techtalk] thanks for DSL help

I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me so much during my DSL
angst.  As it turned out, it wasn't software at all, but a *huge* hardware
problem called my computer. 

thankfully, there was an extra computer at my job for me to use, as my old
computer can't even get through bios right now.  i think that the motherboard
got fried somehow...

in any case, i've now got DSL up and running, and i'm happier than imaginable!
