Just the latest update.... I tried another NIC last night, and the problem was identical. <arg>. It was another 3c509b, which isn't supposed to have any problems, and i could try another NIC, but I think i'm going to worry about my router now. kristin --finder of the ping that works, but not quite....<grin>
