Yes, it can be done.  We did it when I was with TriNet.  Are you using some
sort of central authentication (as in Radius) or are you doing separate
authentication on the NT domain and on the UNIX boxes?  If it's the latter,
have you got the domain user ID and password set exactly the same as on the
UNIX boxes?  If not, that could be where your problem lies.

I wish I could help.  Caldera OpenLinux 2.4 eDesktop did it for me
automagically.  I have five different dictionaries installed, and I can (and
do) change languages in KMail, for example.  So... yes, it can be done, but
no, I don't have an explanation of the right way to do it other than that I
installed the RPMs I wanted/needed.
