Well, I'm not totally familiar with linux
printers, but several of the ones I have do
work.
LaserJet 5p/5mp postscript (the 6p/6mp
will probably work just as well) they
are going for $450-600, last time I checked.
The other printers I have are probably out
of your price range and beyond your need :-)
(an ECRM Mako imagesetter ($23k plus stand-
alone WinNT RIPstation (software alone was
around $7k.)
All my printers are PostScript, however. This
may be why I have little or trouble.
