[techtalk] DHCP vs. Static security

Hi, 

I run my DHCPD with LRP 2.9.4 a striped down version of Debian/
GNU-Linux 2.1 with Kernel 2.0.36. The server boots from a floppy 
and works in a ramdisk.

I do not know, how many IP's you server, but I use a full C-Class 
(252 Computers) and it works on a 486dx40 with 16 MBytes of Ram.

Curently I create my new Web-Sites (Server) based on LRP.

I am creating a full Ready-To-Use Network (192.168.2.0).

The website is curently http://212.198.252.88:8888/lrp294/index.htm
but please note, that you can not download any RAW-disk-images.

I have problems with my harddisk.
(With my DNS too  :-/ Big sh..)

Linux rebootet man in drei Fällen: 
Neuer Kernel, neue (Board-)Hardware, Stromausfall....

Aber Windows rebootet man auch in drei Fällen: 
Schutzverletzung, Bluescreen, keinen Bock...
