moderator

it seems all my posts are going through the moderator...every one i send i
get a message back telling me it is going to the lists moderator for
approval and then posted on...
the turnaround is quite a considerable ammount of time.
I never got any info when i joined the list ( as usually you do on sending
..subscribing unsubscribing etc),....
do you address it to
techtalk at linuxchix.org          ?????
or am i doing something wrong???
