[techtalk] Debugger help needed

I'm assuming you're talking about Perl, since you're using perl-ish
variables.

You can do this:

  x join(", ", @array);

to print the array, joined by commas, or

  x @array

to get each element on a separate line.

As for your second question... you can, but all it does is it puts $string
as the first element of @ARRAY.  Is that what you want?
