if you don't want to see the sendmail stuff ... look in /etc/syslogd.conf
and add

mail.*                                                  /var/log/maillog

if you want to .. you can even remove mail from 

*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none                          /var/log/messages

an add it to the above to get .. 

mail.*;mail.none
/var/log/maillog
