Actually, there are over 3,000 "cross-platform" viruses -- the MS macro
viruses (about 45 of which are actually bug free and work) work on both
Wintel and Mac machines which have the correctr MS Office application,

For those who are interested, the newsgroup alt.comp.virus is very good for
keeping up on what is going on in the world of Av and viruses.  It is about
50% signal, too.....
