[prog] latex search directories

Hi all,
In latex, one can specify directories where latex searches for graphic
files using the command \graphicspath{dir_list}.  Is there a similar 
command to specify where latex searches for .tex files?

I want to include tex files in some subdirectories into the main latex 
document and I was hoping to that I do not have to do 
dirname/texfile.tex for each latex file.
