Hmm, thats an idea, it would take some time...
What we were developing is a database software (currently using PHP/MySQL)
that attempts to estimate advanced standing. Of course our software is
complex, nowhere near complete (it was a 3month project, with 70% of the
project in the analysis/design phases....and only ~3weeks in
implementation).

Anyway, it was more curiosity than anything else, the lecturer was asking.
Can we put our system onto a CD and send it to someone in a country without
internet access where they could use the software?

Since we are using PHP/MySQL its not that simple to do, Knoppix is one idea.
I was hoping to find someone who has done this before (the project probably
exists, but I haven't found it yet....)

Experimenting with the idea post-exams may be an idea :)
