Hello people,
I have been lurking on newchix for ages and have only just signed up for
   a few of the other mailing lists.

I have a graphics tablet (Nisis Easypen G3) which I have had since
before I started using Linux. I want to write my own drivers for it so I
can use it in The Gimp :)

I don't know much C but I know some C++.

Has anyone here had experience of writing drivers for USB peripherals?
What things do I need to learn first?
