Dear ladies and gentlemen,

                                                                Many thanks
to Mr.Ching and Mr.Bidea Cristan(hope I am correct with the designation) for
their help in providing with the links. As for Mr.Ching ,the link you sent
was very exhaustative and very good(much better than Zeyd-Bin links). As for
Mr.Cristan, the ncurses are installed as default packages (otherwise the
compiler would spit error messages) in RH Linux 7.0 distro which I am
using. The problem is that the example program which was given in
http://web.cs.mun.ca/~rod/ncurses/ncurses.html has some color manipulations
but was not visible .Also the function cbreak() is supposed to mask
Delete, erase & kill line keys, but even after this function was invoked, the
program quits when Delete key is pressed!!What could be the problem?

Sachin
