IIRC that's the drill for TCP sockets. Shuying appears to be mucking with 
UDP, which has no concept of a connection, so I very much doubt that the 
accept() call will be necessary. Unfortunately, I have no futher experience 
with UDP, so I'm just watching this one with interest and a notebook :-P
