*Where*: 1701 John F Kennedy Blvd, Comcast Center, 45th Floor

*Agenda*

**

Chris Alfano cofounded the Northern Liberties hackerspace Devnuts and is
chief developer at Jarv.us Innovations and the Science Leadership Academy.
Chris is passionate about open source, open data, and project-based
learning. He will cover Sencha Touch (JavaScript framework for building
touch websites that feel like apps) and PhoneGap (a platform for creating
native Android/iOS apps built around a local website). Together they let you
create native applications that share an interface built with HTML/CSS/JS,
but you can configure the native app projects as you please and plug in
native routines and views as needed.

Eric Schrag will give a presentation and code discussion on practices to
create paid and free versions of an app based on a single library. Eric is a
back-end Java programmer turned Android developer for Comcast Interactive
Media. When he isn't trying to figure out how to make money by programming,
he's following sports, playing games or planning snowboarding trips.

*Sponsors*

Special thanks to Comcast Interactive Media <http://cimlife.com/> for
providing space for the event and DevNuts <http://devnuts.com/> for
