The Linux Systems Engineering team, part of ITS Foundational Technologies, serves the broader mission by working with Researchers, Faculty, and Administration, managing a broad catalog of Linux systems and services.



We are looking to hire a senior Linux engineer to join our team.  Some of the major skills we’re looking for:



  *   Linux systems engineering and operations.
  *   Automation/configuration management.  If you know Chef, even better!
  *   Engineering and troubleshooting ability.
  *   VMWare ESXi administration.


This is an on-premises position, and applicants must be able to work in the United States (citizens & green card holders; Yale does not sponsor work visas for most staff positions.)  Flexible work arrangements (regular work-from-home, flexible scheduling) is possible.
