Girls Who Code is searching for passionate, results-oriented Curriculum
Developers to support our curriculum team in the computer science education
space. Curriculum Developers will be responsible for supporting a
high-impact, project-based curriculum that prepares girls for 21st century
computing opportunities, incites passion for computer science, and scales
to meet the needs of more girls nationwide. S/he will support the
following: evaluating and revising current curricular materials, creating
new educational materials and modules, ensuring curriculum quality,
training teachers and volunteers, and positioning Girls Who Code as thought
leader in computer science education.
In this full time role, Curriculum Developers will report to the Curriculum
Director and will work in partnership with Girls Who Code program staff.
The successful candidate has a technical degree and technical work
experience, as well as experience working in an education setting and
managing a classroom.
The Curriculum Directors will be based in New York City and San Francisco.
