The University of Virginia Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences is seeking a Software Engineer to assist the Center for Diabetes Technology. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the design, development, documentation, testing and maintenance of software programs in Java, C and other languages as part of the Android cell phone based artificial pancreas project. The successful applicant will display creativity, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as within a team to successfully complete complex projects on schedule. This position is located in the Center for Diabetes Technology on W. Main Street with free on site parking.
