Duties:
Gray Systems is currently sourcing for a Jr. Level Systems administrator.

The ideal Engineer will operate as Linux/Unix Systems Administrator.

The Linux System Administrators must have worked in a large corporate data center and have midrange or mainframe background in their past.  The Administrators will also provide some training support to existing IT Team during this period.

Responsibilities The Midrange System Administration team provides Unix/Linux System Administration services for an assigned set of applications.

Qualifications:  Solaris 8, 9, 10;
                         AIX; Linux (SUSE);
                         Network Monitoring Tools.
                         A mid level status in Unix/Linux OS Administration.
Must have
•       The ability to troubleshoot problems from the application tier through the OS and Network tiers.
•       The ability to write Unix/Linux scripts
•       Experience w/Problem Solving
•       Skills providing technical solutions

Education: Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but additional technical experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Security Clearance Required.

2 Positions Sunday - Thursday
2 Positions Tuesday - Saturday
We will be working weekends and holidays as this is a 24X7X365 operation.
