Mobile Multimedia Software Developer ~ San Diego CA

 

You will work in a recently created engineering group within a large
company, developing 

next generation embedded Linux-based products through 2015.  Design,
integrate and port

audio, video, camera and GPS technology for mobile platform for handheld
devices.  

 

This group will welcome over 1000 engineers by the end of 2007 ~ will
you be one of them?

 

Technical Requirements:

 

3+ years hands-on product software development 

Embedded application development, preferably for multimedia mobile
devices

Fluent C/C++  technical application development

Linux platform experience a must; Linux kernel level device drivers a
big plus.

Familiarity with:  OpenMax, GStreamer, ALSA and/or V4L2 drivers desired.

 

BSCS/BSEE with 3+ years / MSCS/MSEE with 2+ years professional
experience required.

Telecom/mobile/wireless industry experience with the above skills
guarantees attention!

Relocation assistance available; contract, contract-to-hire, and direct
