IT Architect with 10-12  years of Linux Experience in a multiplatform
environment with the following skills:

 

Solid understanding of a Linux operating system ; inter-process
communication, Kernel , Linux Internals ,devices and what device drivers
do, file system concepts etc

? Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment
concepts; NFS /NIS/DNS; have knowledge of network routing concepts. 

?   Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment
concepts; principles of routing, client/server programming, the design
of consistent network-wide file system layouts. 

? Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl,  shell),
C-programming language , and to write small C or C++ programs. 

? Have a good understanding of Linux applications and Development
environment 

? Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing
proposals or papers, making presentations to internal users/IT. Good
Customer service skills are essential.

Minimum education required is a BS, a MS would be desirable

environment with the following skills:

concepts; NFS /NIS/DNS; have knowledge of routing concepts. 

? Solid understanding of a Linux operating system ; inter-process
communication, Kernel ,devices and what device drivers do, file system
concepts etc. 

?   Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment
concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming,
the design of consistent network-wide file system layouts. 

? Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl, a shell),
to port C programs from one platform to another, and to write small C or
C++ programs. 

?  Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes 

?  Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing
proposals or papers, making presentations to internal users/IT

Requires a BS minimum education, a MS is desired.
