New Mexico/Hillsboro, Oregon: Product Engineers:
As a Product Engineer the candidate will own products on various
technologies. Responsibilities include new product introductions,
initiating and driving product specific yield and performance issues to
resolution, leading efforts for overall product health improvements by
partnering with other Intel groups, and ownership of product performance
indicators and meeting product speed goals. This person will be the
interface with Intel Product Divisions, Design, and Assembly / Test
groups through various cross-organizational forums. Strong technical
background in semiconductor device physics, microprocessor design /
test, and fab process knowledge needed. Strong leadership and
influencing skills is required. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills is essential since the selected candidate will be
expected to provide updates to various levels of management on product
issues. Strong problem solving skills and a good understanding of
statistical analysis tools is required. BS/MS/PhD in Electrical /
Electronics Engineering with a related semiconductor experience desired.

Hillsboro, Oregon PROCESS Engineers:We have several excellent
opportunities for experienced fab process/equipment engineers in the
following functional areas: lithography, etch, chemical/mechanical
polish, diffusion, thin films, implant, yield, sort and integration.
You'll work on a team to design and improve advanced semiconductor
devices and develop new design techniques to improve the performance of
future generations of Intel(r) architecture.
Thin Films Metrology Engineer, New Mexico: In this position you will
initially be responsible for sustaining, improving and matching Rudolph*
tools. Responsibilities will expand to other Thin Film (TF) metrology
tools including KLA Tencor*. Other responsibilities include:
-Equipment qualification and matching of tools within the fab;-Equipment
trouble-shooting and system support/improvement while routinely
interacting with vendor personnel;-Recipe writing for new products and
improvement of recipes as driven by customer needs
Fault Isolation Engineer, Hillsboro, Oregon :In this position you will
be responsible for locating induced reliability failures on SRAM test
vehicles for Intel's next generation processes. Training will be
provided on tools, techniques, and basic SRAM design. You will use your
knowledge together with tools and good problem solving skills to
identify the one unique faulty node causing the unit to fail to perform
its expected behavior. Other responsibilities include:
-Verifying failing units on development testers
-Utilizing state-of-the art techniques in fault isolation
-Appling a strong understanding of the test vehicle in order to locate
fails reliably
-Interfacing extensively with quality and reliability, test, and design
engineers to understand and explain the fail and to stay abreast of
methods and designs
-Initiating and delivering development projects designed to maintain and
advance the state-of-the-art techniques used in fault isolation and to
propagate these throughout the company. This may include development of
new test patterns, software, tool modifications, or close interactions
with tool vendors to stimulate new tool development.
