This position has key responsibility for technical design, implementation,
testing, and software development for the Canadian new media web site,
HorizonZero. The TDL works collaboratively with the Technical Production
Lead to support the development and delivery of content on HorizonZero and
is responsible for developing and maintaining proper documentation of all
projects, and leading software development of new applications. This is a
full time term appointment to December 31, 2003, located at The Banff
Centre, Banff Alberta.  The appointment may be renewed dependent on funding.

Requires experience in Linux server adminstration, software development
practices, open source processes, content management systems, back-end and
application development, programming in PHP, Javascript, Perl, working with
web-based projects produced in Flash.  Computer science degree preferred.
