Yeah, I used to feel the same while reading about all these events
down south (read bangalore) :)

IIRC, there was talk of having meets at different cities too but I
suppose like other volunteer-oriented things it will happen only if
there is interest at a ground level :) Here we had a lot of NGO's come
together because they use linux but lack support (a common complaint
:)).
