Absolutely agree with Sriram on this. Fwiw, the main LC has also
initiate a formal process of rules for local chapters. Non-members
holding on to domains is not the best way for a volunteer community to
function.

JFTR, some folks have already offered to host the Indichix chapter but
that is for later. First, we need to resolve the linuxchix.org.in
domain ownership at the earliest.

They are separate issues.

Hmm... I was flamed, called names (militant feminist, last year on
this list), trolled, etc... but I didnt leave. The subtle (and overt)
bullying, stalking, intimidation is something I've seen at close
quarters so lets not jump to conclusions about others (unless Swati
has told you why she left). As for her _not_ responding, she was
CC'd many times. This thread also contains a CC to her so she can
respond if she wants to.

If by structure you mean an Advisory committee, it would also be
prudent to suggest who these Advisors will be? Will they be active
members or just about anyone? Will there be a timebound term for them
or is it for eternity? Anyway we can discuss those when the domain
issue is resolved. Lets not bring too many things in one thread.

Thanks for taking an interest Gayathri.
