I like how you have stated things above. Nice.

To ensure that we all clearly understand who the admin contacts and
list admins are, could we have a mail detailing exactly that much,
please ?

This would be better than referring to a wiki whose contents are
subject to change (and we may not look at the history all the time).

Also, having such a mail on the mailing list will also ensure that
such a list of names is archived.

e.g.

Hello list:

For the purpose of creating the DNS advisory and technical contacts,
I'm summing up the various names proposed on earlier thread.
1. NameA (email address)
2. NameB (email address)

In case anyone has any observations to make on this list of names, or
if the people mentioned in this list of names wish to opt out, please
reply to this mail.

I request that these discussions to happen on the list. That way, they
are archived. Also, community members can step in with observations,
and perhaps even help steer the discussions back on track.

This will also serve some more purposes:
- list members will learn from observation how an admin team ought to
discuss amongst themselves.
- the admin team will be aware that this is a good time to set a good
example of discussing a topic with focus.
- those who fear that all discussions are always flame-wars will get a
chance to see positive discussions.
