[IndiChix] Proposal for a workshop at NIT Durgapur

Dear Satya,
Hi! I am Debayan Banerjee. I am a final year student at NIT Durgapur in the
department of Information Technology. Every year we organise a National
Level Technical Symposium on GNU/Linux and Free Software calle "Mukti". This
years event is titled Mukti09 and will happen from 6th to 8th February .
This year, we intend to make a paradigm shift from past year's activities.
We wish to have more seminars/talks/workshops intead of competitions. To
realise this goal, we would love to have you visit us and deliver a talk on
the Linux kernel. I am aware of your GSoC project for BootChart. We will be
able to provide you with travel sponsorship. You have the entire month of
January and the first week of February to visit us. Any date would be
alright at our end in that window.
Our institute is fairly aware of the Linux kernel as a technology. See
http://lug.nitdgp.ac.in/download/linux/videos/kernel/ . It would be perfect
if your talk would span from an introduction to the kernel, its subsystems
and architecture, to giving a hacking demo.
In case it is not possible for you to some to Durgapur during that time,
kindly suggest some names to me, who could give a nice talk on the linux
kernel.
