Fwiw, we are not discussing the semantics of a true-blue FLoss
community because by that definition devcamp.in wont make the cut....
AND absolutely anyone is free to make money with FLoss, rather a lot
of companies and commercial events survive thus.

Platinum sponsor : RedHat ; Interoperability partner: Novell ; and
then there is Intel, NRCFoss, Ingres, etc....

Piyush Verma, Software Developer, Mpower Mobile (also KDE-india)
Adriane Knopper, Knopper.Net
Klaus Knopper, Creator, Knoppix
Louis Suárez-Potts, Community Relations Manager, OpenOffice.org
David Axmark, Co-Founder, MySQL AB
Brian Behlendorf, Founder, CollabNet, Director, Mozilla Foundation
... may have missed some, but above folks are part of some floss
community. Yeah, they are sponsored/paid to speak but which speaker
isnt ! That said, I have no affiliations to OSI week but the purpose
of asking if anyone is attending was to find out if any grrls are
attending the event. Its *not* to morph this thread into arguing the
semantics of a true floss community in India.
