Unfortunately, we have only been able to invite Ankita this year due
to limited funding. We chose Ankita because she is a kernel
contributor, and thus a perfect example of a woman who is successful
in technical and open source communities (and there are few scarier
communities than the LKML).
That said, we're really happy to have Ankita represent LinuxChix at
FOSSKriti (http://www.techkriti.org/fosskriti). I believe that this is
a really great platform for students from around the country to be
introduced to the LC-IN community.

The talk can go on for an hour (we can _try_ to squeeze in more time,
if needed). As for F/OSS awareness, we expect that most students are
aware of F/OSS, at least to some extent (it is a tech fest, after
all). We are planning to have a "Learn about F/OSS" stall (there is a
stall for LinuxChix as well) where people who can come and learn more.
The idea is to get people involved, rather than first drowning them
out in philosophy. We are trying to gear up the entire event in this
way.
