[IndiChix] A message for LC-IN

I have been a silent observer so far. But feel compelled to voice my
opinions. I am recent FOSS contributor and only a recent member of the
LinuxChix- India chapter ( joined last year)

My reasons for joining the Indian chapter entirely were based on these two
assumptions:

- We have more women equality ( women: men ratio ) when it comes to
contribution and,
- We have the potentials to mentor many many eager minds wanting to get
involved

Am not physically located in India presently. But definitely thought that it
is possible that this chapter can nurture many efforts.

Agreed things are still fresh,

- getting LinuxChix-IN back on track
- forming advisories within to focus on particular activities

As Runa, Aneesha, Atul, Swati and several others have pointed out, this is
still the time to see how we ( men and women) can do it standing together to
get things done. It has already been decided from my understanding that
Archana, Runa, Vidya ( sorry if I missed anyone else) will be running things
for the next year till activities are on track.

So, let's not put the cart before the horse! and get digging deeper on the
particulars of advisories and such. Think it still early to do that while
there is infrastructure related details to set up. Think that should be
entirely a community decision later when it happens. There are several
prospective projects ( devcamps, meet-ups etc.,) happening. Let's focus on
those and see how to get people involved.

Think Swati summed it well earlier,

"I sincerely hope that not all list members think that what happened on
this list was a figment of imagination and can be happily winged away.
There are lessons to be learnt by everyone and mistakes were made that
should not be repeated by anyone."

Thanks for the opportunity to voice concerns.
