Could you or Warren tell us the current status. Distro's available ?
Machines available? and what are the access timings that it would be
open to the public. Is it open on the weekends ? Also, is there
someone to take beginners through the basics? Have you decided how to
formulate and start ?

It would help if the space is open so women can learn the basics for
Debian/Ubuntu:

- base packages needed
- using chroot as a package building environment.
- keeping sync with releases, architechtures, ...
- other packaging basics

Once they are familiar, I can sync it with Ubuntu classroom project.
Again, 2 options : feel free to fix the timing /topic interested in,
inform - so i can find a devel who can take a class for that as this
will take some time and needs to be co-ordinated well. Or, sync with
the upcoming Ubuntu Open week.

I can help co-ordinate it with Ubuntu and Debian communities. Keep us posted.
