Yes, yes, especially after the experiences that some of us must have had

Perhaps the other new women could put out a query on the nearest
(geographically speaking) linuxchix to them? And maybe follow it up. Any
other ideas?

I agree.
Even if it doesn't work immediately, we will all get a good idea of what
kind of things people are interested in currently. And modify things
accordingly. It's important to start, at least.

Oh yes, my strange name notwithstanding, I am indeed a woman ;-)
