I'm out here. I just found the course last night, went
through it all, but there's a snag. When I try to
launch a gui program from terminat I get the
following:

[jb at mycomputer jb]$ /usr/bin/<gui-program> &
[1] 8684
[jb at mycomputer jb]$ Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused
by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0

I can ping my own computer, the other computer on the
lan and the router. the router dosen't have a name,
but the 2 computers can be reached by their names. I
think most of it is working properly, and I'm on the
net right now.

Thank you for taking the time to write this course, I
have been trying to figure this out with a RH book for
a while now, your course was much more human.
